following the, IET Code of Practice In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 5th Edition.

Small group training also gives you the advantage to discuss and ask questions, so you can really engage and enjoy the training.
The training I offer are NOT City & Guilds training course.
If City & Guilds is your requirement, please let me know and we can offer you some information on companies offering this particular course.
However, City & Guilds qualification in Portable Appliance Testing, now referred to as Electrical Equipment Testing (EET) is currently not a requirement to carry out Portable Appliance Testing in the UK.
During the training we follow, and all information given, is from the IET Code of Practice In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 5th Edition.
Throughout the training we cover both the theoretical and practical sides of In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, with plenty of hands on practical inspection and testing.
All that is required for the training is supplied so candidates need bring nothing with them
However, I do recommend candidates purchase their own copy of the IET Code of Practice In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 5th Edition. This can be purchased from any good bookstore, or I can supply a copy for you at a cost of £65.00.
At the end of the training, each candidate will receive a personalised certificate of attendance.

Customers old and new, what are they saying?
Did a pat test training course here and it was excellent!!! Really relaxed environment and very informative. Only two of us training out of a maximum of three so not overwhelming even when fully booked. Peter was brilliant. There was no pressure and he was very patient and explained things clearly. Can highly recommend. Oh and almost forgot price was really reasonable compared to most training courses.
Attended at PAT course with Peter. There were only two of us on the course so plenty of time to ask questions and to go through both the theory and practical elements. Peter is a great trainer and was very engaging.
